Rebind every key. Settings > Keybinds lists every action: movement, jump, sprint, dodge, attack, block, both hotbar rows, targeting, interact, the free-cursor key, every window, chat, mute and more. Each has a primary and a secondary binding, and either can be a key, a mouse button (Mouse 4 and 5 too), a wheel notch or a combination with Shift, Ctrl or Alt. Click a binding and press the new key: Esc cancels and Backspace clears it. Search the list, reset one action or all of them.
No accidental clashes. Picking a key that another action already uses asks whether to swap the two or unbind the other one. Shortcuts the browser keeps for itself (like Ctrl+W or Ctrl+T) are refused, and ones it normally uses (like F5) come with a warning.
Every key you see is your key. Hotbar key caps, tooltips, the "E to interact" prompt, the Help window, tutorial hints and loading-screen tips all show your own bindings.
Some actions without a default key can now be bound: open the worlds window, reply to the last whisper, start a whisper, zoom in / out with keys.
Changed
One `Esc` closes everything. With windows, panels, a conversation, a shop or a context menu open, a single Esc closes them all at once. A cast or ground-target preview, a text field or a confirmation is cancelled first. With nothing open, Esc opens the game menu, and the next Esc closes it. Your Esc still works whatever you bind the game menu key to.
The camera keeps working in conversations and crafting. With a dialogue, crafting station, shop or bank open, drag on the world with either mouse button to turn the camera and use the wheel to zoom. Clicks on the window work as before.
The Settings > Controls "Free-cursor key" choice moved to Settings > Keybinds (Free the cursor). Your choice carries over.
The game menu's "Controls" entry now opens Keybinds.
Fixed
`Esc` that closes a window no longer opens the game menu as well, including in the action camera, where the browser releasing the mouse could count as a second Esc. Holding Esc no longer flips the menu open and shut.
Pressing ? for Help no longer also opens the chat with a /.
