Play on Your Phone or Tablet
Whispered Scrolls runs right in your phone's browser. Add it to your home screen and it opens full screen, just like any other app. It's the same game, account and characters you play on your computer.
Phone and tablet play is new and still experimental. If something feels awkward or wrong, please tell us with Feedback / Report a bug in the game, or on our Discord.
iPhone and iPad
- Open play.whisperedscrolls.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button. If you don't see it, tap the ••• button first, then Share.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Leave Open as Web App turned on, then tap Add.
- Open Whispered Scrolls from your home screen.
Android
- Open play.whisperedscrolls.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
- Tap Add to home screen, then Install. Some phones call it Install app.
- Open Whispered Scrolls from your home screen or app drawer.
Before You Head Out
- Turn your phone sideways. The game plays in landscape.
- Move with your left thumb and look around with your right. Attack, block, dodge, jump and heal each have their own button, and you can pinch to zoom the camera.
- Wi-Fi or a strong signal gives the smoothest play.
Got a Controller?
Plug in an Xbox, PlayStation or Steam Deck controller on your computer and press any button. The game switches over straight away and shows your controller's own buttons. Press Start for the menu. Controller play is experimental too, and we'd love to hear how it feels.
