The Whispered Scrolls Wiki
Whispered Scrolls has a wiki at wiki.whisperedscrolls.com, and a Field Guide inside the game that reads from the same data.
- A wiki that keeps itself up to date. Every item, creature, resource, recipe, quest, shop and place has a page, generated from the game and refreshed with every patch. Drop chances show as Common, Uncommon, Rare and Very rare, and creatures and resources show which areas they're in.
- Sign in with your Whispered Scrolls account. Use the same login as the game. Anyone signed in can comment, and once you reach total level 100 you can write and edit guides.
- Look it up without leaving the game. Right-click an item, recipe, quest, skill or map pin and choose Look up to open the Field Guide. On a controller press X on it, and on touch hold it. The Field Guide is also in the menu. Each page links to the players' guides on the wiki.
The Hearthmoor Exchange
The player market is now the Hearthmoor Exchange, with a new look that is much quicker to use with a mouse, a controller or a touch screen.
- Buy in one go. Pick an item, choose how many, and press Buy. You get the cheapest ones on sale and they go straight into your satchel.
- Sell in one go. If someone is already asking for what you have, sell it to them on the spot. If not, list it for sale with a price filled in for you, and see what you'll get after the fee.
- Find things faster. Browse by category, then narrow it down: weapons by type, armour by who wears it and by slot, trade goods like ore, wood, herbs and gems on their own shelves. Filter by tier and sort by price or by how many are for sale. Every row shows one clear price and how many are on offer. Turn off "For sale now" to see every item that can be traded, and make an offer for something nobody is selling yet.
- Orders no longer run out. Your offers and listings stay up until they are filled or you cancel them. Nothing comes back after a week any more.
- Drag to sell. Drag an item from your satchel onto the Exchange to start selling it.
- Bulk gear comes as writs. Buy one piece of gear and it comes ready to use. Buy two or more of the same and they come as a single Ledger Writ that weighs almost nothing, which you can redeem at any bank. Tick Collect as items if you'd rather have the real things whenever they fit.
- Your orders in one place. My orders shows what is ready to collect at the top, then everything you are still buying or selling, with how far along each one is.
- Works on every device. Big buttons and steppers instead of typing, a layout that fits a phone, and full controller support: LB and RB switch tabs, and picking an item puts you right on the Buy button.
PvP fixes
- Duel a party member from the right-click menu. It was greyed out there even though duels between party members were already allowed.
- The Bandit Quartermaster and the raider's flag message now say it right: once your flag is up, anyone outside a town can attack you, at any level.
- Selling at a fence says whose bank the goods went to. They go to the bank of whoever sells the wagon, which the message used to call the leader's bank.
- The carters no longer say cargo can be taken back out. Once loaded, it stays in the wagon until delivery.
