Starter creatures no longer chain combo strings. Goblins, boars and other ordinary creatures below level 10 attack one telegraphed blow at a time again, so a brand-new character can take on a small group and win, though not without a scratch. Elites, bosses and everything from level 10 up still chain follow-up hits.
