Two rings, boss door countdown and mouse options
A batch of fixes and requests from your bug reports. Thank you for sending them in.
Dungeons
- Boss arena doors no longer slam shut the moment a boss is pulled. They stay open for 15 seconds so the rest of your party can still get in.
- A banner counts down "The doors are closing" for everyone in the dungeon, and the gate lowers in its arch with a glow and a rumble before it lands.
- Standing on the Winch Platform during Foreman Rattlejaw's fight, or in similar side nooks of other boss arenas, no longer resets the boss every few seconds.
- A boss pulled out of its arena and still outside when the doors shut now resets.
Gear
- You now have two ring slots, and both rings count. A new ring goes into an empty slot first; drag it onto a ring slot to choose which one it replaces.
- The Pack slot moved to the bottom row of the equipment panel to make room.
Food and potions
- Food no longer has a cooldown. It is your everyday heal.
- Health potions heal 50% more but share a 5-minute cooldown, so save them for emergencies. Stamina, focus and buff potions are unchanged.
Skills
- Fishing can miss: the fish gets away 40% of the time at a spot's level requirement, 1% less per level above it, down to 5%. A miss still uses your bait and gives half the XP.
- Cooking: your chance to burn food drops evenly with each level until it reaches 0%. The crafting window shows your current burn chance and the level where burning stops.
- Gathering spots that can give more than one item say so, e.g. Heather Tuft yields Meadowsweet or Fernroot.
Controls
- New Gameplay setting for moving with a window open: close the window (default), stay still, or keep it open while you walk.
- New mouse options: swap the left and right buttons, hold both buttons to run forward, and drag with the middle button to turn the camera.
- Removed the middle-mouse lock-on and its keybind.
