Thunderstorms are easier to see in. Storms still turn the sky to slate, but the light on the ground and on people is no longer so dim that everything goes black.
Characters stand out at night on phones. Phones and tablets now get the soft edge light that keeps characters visible in the dark.
Phones recover better after running out of memory. If the game crashes on your phone while loading or soon after you enter the world, it now switches to Lighter mode for next time and waits on the menu instead of loading you straight back in, so your phone gets a chance to recover. You can turn detail back up in Settings.
