Smoother Updates
Clearer screens when the server updates, a weapon card you can't miss, and an on-screen guide to the camera.
Server Updates
- When the server restarts for an update, you see a Server Update screen instead of being dropped. It tells you when the server is back and takes you straight back into the game, usually in about a minute.
- If an update changed the game, it reloads once and puts you right back where you were.
- Trying to log in during an update now waits and lets you in automatically.
- A small countdown appears under the compass before a restart.
Interface
- The weapon card that introduces each new weapon now appears above your hotbar with a glowing border and a clear Try It button, and shows which mouse buttons attack and block.
- Weapon cards have a Don't Show Again button. Settings > Interface can turn them back on and show the ones you've seen again.
- A small badge above the hotbar shows whether the mouse is aiming (Action Camera) or moving a cursor (Cursor Free), and which key switches back.
- If the game loses your mouse (for example after pressing Esc), it says "Click to resume".
- Left and right clicks that do nothing now show why, like a cooldown or low stamina.
- The Stylist's preview now shows height properly: sliding Height makes you visibly taller or shorter, as it does when you create a character.
- Balance changes can now be applied without a server restart, and your tooltips update automatically.
Halloween
- The Horseman's Scythe is now a tier-1 weapon, so anyone can wield it.
- The Jack-o'-Lantern Headpiece, the Straw Scarecrow Hat, the Headless Horseman's halter and the Horseman's Scythe can now be sold on the market.
