If you untrack every quest, the tracker stays empty while you finish other quests. Starting a new quest or tracking one yourself brings it back.
The quest tracker no longer grows past nearly half the screen. It scrolls with the mouse wheel, with a slim brass scrollbar, so you can read your third quest and beyond.
In A Crate for the Long Table, Gilly now warns you that the dune stalkers on the desert road are tough, so bring food or friends.
/sit near a bench or stump now seats you on it, always facing the front however you walked up, and everyone around sees it that way too.
Apple trees have a solid trunk you walk around.
Caravan wagons now go up any slope you can walk up, and when the ground is too steep for one, you're told so plainly.
Wagons no longer have a time limit. Keep yours out as long as you like; the rules for leaving it unguarded or logging out are the same.
Wagons lean with the slope, so their wheels sit on the ground on hillsides.
When nobody in your caravan is near the wagon, a red countdown under your PvP status tells you how long until it's unguarded, and then how long until it's lost. Your wagon and your PvP status now share one compact card at the top left, under your name. It only offers the reins, cargo and weighing when you can actually use them, and points you to the wagon when you're away from it. The PvP rules fold away behind a ? button.
After a reload or a quick login, your own wagon is yours again: no more "Take the Wagon" on a wagon you hired, and your PvP status shows straight away.
Nameplates no longer show through hillsides for monsters in a cave below you or on another floor.
Monsters no longer notice you through a ridge or hilltop.
The Headless Horseman is back on his horse after a wiped fight once he has healed.
Meteor impacts leave a thinner, lighter smoke that clears in under two seconds, so you can see the crater and your friends.
Staff and wand descriptions no longer say they cannot heal.
Dungeon doors now seal as soon as everyone inside has reached the boss room, instead of waiting out the countdown. The doors countdown is now a small red marker under the update countdown.
The agility course start prompt shows the level requirement once, and hides itself after a while, or when you close it, until you walk away and come back.
Locking or unlocking items in bulk now clears your selection, and closing the satchel does too. The selection bar eases in.
The Inspect window shows the full duel record instead of cutting it off.
Confirming a duel puts you straight back in the action camera. A slim line shows while you wait for your opponent, with a Back Out button.
The PvP status strip is now its own panel in the HUD editor, so you can move and resize it away from the quest tracker.
In the browser, a "Play in fullscreen" box under the Play button (ticked to start with) takes you into fullscreen as you enter the game. The game plays best in fullscreen.
The hotbar flickers less while you ride or run.
With the camera height or shoulder offset turned up, the camera no longer swings up into the sky past walls and props, or into the roof inside two-storey buildings. It now stays under the ceiling, keeps your view level when something pulls it in, and eases back out smoothly.
Gear compare shows two separate cards, the item you're looking at beside what you're wearing. It opens to the left of your cursor, or to the right when there's no room. It now works in the bank, the market, trades, wagon cargo and crafting too.
Weapon and shield tooltips say whether they go in your main hand, your off hand, or need both hands.
Bows and crossbows reach half again as far: basic shots and every arrow ability (a bow shoots 42 m, a crossbow 36 m, Deadeye 60 m). Abilities that guns also use keep their range.
Daggers are now held in a reverse grip, blade down, for a proper overhand stab.
