You can now sign in with your email address. New accounts are made with an email: we send you a 6-digit code, you type it in, pick a password, and you're in.
Forgot your password? There's a Forgot password? link on the sign-in screen that emails you a link to set a new one.
Already have an account with just an account name? It still works for now. Click your name at the top right of the character screen to open the new Account window and add an email or connect Discord, so you can recover the account if you ever forget the password. Once you do, you sign in with your email or Discord instead of the account name. New accounts are made with an email or Discord only.
Continue with Discord signs you in with your Discord account, in the browser, on itch.io and in the Windows app.
Just want to look around first? Play now as a guest drops you straight into character creation, no sign-up needed. Guests play the whole game except trading, the Exchange, world and trade chat, and PvP. When you want those, save your account with an email or Discord from the Account window and keep everything you've earned.
The title and menu screens now show the painted art of the Aethermere instead of building the live village behind them, so the game opens faster.
Sign out everywhere, also in the Account window, signs you out on every device at once. Changing or resetting your password does the same.
