Patch

Report a Player, Unstuck and Powder and Shot

Tools to keep the realm friendly, a way out when you are stuck, and pistols from your first days in Wickhaven.

Report a Player

  • Report a player who is harassing, spamming, scamming, cheating or using an offensive name: right-click their name in chat or their character in the world, use Report… in the inspect window or the friends list, or type /report Name.
  • Pick a reason, add details if you like, and keep the screenshot or leave it out. Moderators see recent chat from and with that player, taken from the server's own record. Your report is private.
  • Tick Also ignore this player to stop hearing from them at once.
  • To make reports useful, the server now keeps recent chat (local, world, trade, party and whispers) for 14 days. Moderators only see the part that involves the reported player.

Moderators

  • The realm now has moderators. They wear a teal Mod mark on their nameplate and in chat, and the developer wears a gold Dev mark. Nobody else can show one.
  • Moderators can warn, mute and disconnect players who break the rules, and help stuck players. Everything they do is logged.

Unstuck

  • Stuck in a rock or a wall? Type /unstuck (or use Unstuck in the Esc menu). After 10 seconds standing still you return to the nearest Lamp-stone you have attuned (in a dungeon: its last checkpoint). Moving, taking damage or fighting cancels it. Once every 15 minutes.
  • A moderator can also send you there if you are truly stuck.

Powder and Shot

  • New quest: Powder and Shot. Dunstan Pike in Wickhaven lends you a bronze flintlock and sends you to the alchemy table in Silverford to learn the gunner's craft: char a log, grind bone meal, make thunderpowder and twist your own stone-shot cartridges. Rewards include 60 bronze cartridges.
  • Pistols from day one: Warden Isolde's Precision kit now includes a bronze flintlock and 30 cartridges alongside the shortbow.
  • Wren and Pike now point you to Pike's guns, and running out of cartridges tells you where to get more.

Interface

  • Easier-to-read titles: player titles and the role line under townsfolk's names have a solid outline, so they stay readable on snow, sand and bright sky. Townsfolk roles now use small capitals.
  • Players standing on top of each other: right-clicking them now asks which one you mean first.
  • The thank-you after a bug report or feedback no longer sends you to Discord.
