Every melee weapon now reaches twice as far, and melee abilities hit an area twice the size, including Cleave, Whirlwind, Charge, Earthsplitter and the Guard kits. Melee knockbacks and pulls move foes twice as far too. Their tooltips show the new distances.
Duels
You can now see your own duel record, Carters' Guild rank and notoriety under "PvP record" in Gear & Stats.
The Gazette now carries news from the roads: staked and best-of-3 duels, raiders' kills, stolen wagons, fence sales, big hauls brought home, and trouble in the Lampless Reaches.
Even Footing duels now even out gear as well as levels. Each piece of gear counts for no more than the weaker of the two in that slot, and an item facing an empty slot counts for nothing.
Duels now open with a bow. As the first countdown starts, both fighters turn to face each other and bow.
When a duel ends, both fighters get a big Victory, Defeat or Draw banner with the score, how it ended and any stakes won or lost. Each round's result also shows clearly before the next round starts.
The winner lights up with a golden burst, and everyone nearby sees who won in system chat.
In duels with healing turned off, Restoration weapons and attacks still work. Their healing just does nothing. Abilities that only heal are still off limits, and cleanses work again.
Fixes
Fixed brief freezes and disconnects that could hit everyone at once after a server restart.
If you haven't logged in since coins became an item, your coins are waiting safely in your bank instead of your satchel.
Amounts
You can type 10k, 2.5m or 1b in the bank, shop, drop, market, crafting, trade and duel amount boxes. The box shows the full number so you can check it.
Settings
Every option in Settings now has a short note explaining what it does. Hover or tap the info icon next to it.
Caravans and Raiders
Raiders are fair game. Any player can attack a raider, or a wagon raiders are holding, at any level and whether or not they're flagged themselves. Outside towns only, and the road wardens won't shoot you for it.
Raiders can attack haulers and escorts of a higher level, however big the gap. Anyone a raider hits can fight back for 30 seconds, but raiders can't start on players who aren't flagged. Haulers and escorts far below a raider's level are still safe from them.
Once cargo is on a wagon it stays there until it reaches a carter's yard, or a fence for a stolen wagon. You can load a wagon but not unload it on the road.
If you try to take a wagon that isn't yours without a raider's flag, you're asked first. Agree, and your raider's flag goes up as you take it.
Every wagon you can see now shows on the minimap and the world map, not just your own and your party's.
With your raider's flag up, you can see every wagon on the road on the world map, however far away it is.
Carters and raiders' posts are marked on the minimap and the world map.
Every carter now has a yard with a Guild wagon parked out front, a wheel sign, cargo and a trough. Carters wear a leather cap and go by "Wagons for Hire", so they're easy to spot.
Raiders' posts look like proper bandit camps now, with tents, palisades, the black flag, bedrolls, torches and piles of stolen cargo, each suited to its land.
Taking, repairing or walking away from a wagon now shows a timer bar above your hotbar, and players nearby see the bar over your head. If someone starts taking your wagon, you're warned straight away.
Your raider's flag now counts down on the PvP strip. It comes down after ten quiet minutes, and any fight starts the clock again.
Road wardens are easier to read. You can see their bolts flying at you, you're told who is shooting, and the death screen names them if they finish you off.
