The Windows app (and the game installed as an app) now has an Exit Game button, so no more Alt+F4. It's on the title screen, at character select, at the bottom of the Esc menu and in the Settings footer. Your progress is saved before the game closes.
Playing in a browser in fullscreen? The same spots now have an Exit Fullscreen button, so you don't have to hold Esc to get out.
